In the escort folder the U Boat section u have to unlock submarine technology to start any research. I dont seem to be able to find out how to do this even though in the uboat folder I have reserached everything and have the required ports and uboats built and fighting, but cant get any further with the research.

Anyone know how to unlock this?

Germany has its own submarine tech folder, the escort sub techs are for the AI.
