In Ethiopia Haile Selassie wanted to reform the nations to match the glory of the Freestate but like in most monarchies the nobles with the power didn't like change. But to our liking the Emperor decided to ignore the protests and continued with the planned reformations.
Winter was coming in Europe. The German and French forces had stopped their offensives and had begun to cave in for the winter.
The pressure coming from the nobles was too much for Haile and he was forced to appease the Nobels of Ethiopia a little. They were given more power but not in the government but in the military.
Soon terrible news reached us. The horror... the horror...

Troubles in Africa
Socialism had finally arrived to Africa. The Government of South Africa crumbled down under the pressure of the Socialist rebellion caused by the racial policies of the United Party. A new Radical Socialist government was established which immediately begun to negotiate with Internationale to secure an alliance and a cooperation treaty with them. This was terrible news for all of Africa and her people.
In other news USA decided to remain somewhat neutral in the WW2 but rumor was that they were secretly supplying Entente with materials. Even volunteers were rumored to join the Royal Canadian Army.
Unfortunately for Haile the nobles had had enough with the reforms and they decided to revolt against the legitimate government under a false flag of Imperial Abyssinia. First the socialist and now civil war in Ethiopia. Was Weltkrieg 2 coming to Africa?
Ethiopians had been good friends and business partners for Göring and Freistaat so it was only natural that we would send supplies and volunteers to fight against the noble pretenders. Göring hoped that this would bring the two nations closer and secure Ethiopia under Freistaat's influence.

Well Kaiserreich is full of surprises. And that is why I love it. Even a slight disturbance in the Force will chance the course of events for eternity.
It looks like the South African communists are threatening the whites' entrenched right to free enterprise. (At the same time, the blacks' right to free labor is threatened as well.) Someone must restore those freedoms.
Spring Offensive
Our spies in the south tell us that the Internationale leadership have finally given an answer to the new socialist regime in South Africa and their answer was in our favor, sort of. Apparently SA wasn't accepted in Internationale as a full member but they were offered an non-aggression pact. South Africans of course weren't happy about this but they didn't protest.
In Europe spring was coming and the French had all ready begun their Spring Offensive and they've all ready Main river and the gates of Frankfurt. Would the Empire be able to counter this early offensive or would they be forced to pull back even more.
In USA the Government was rooting support for Entente but they wanted the support of Americans too who were skeptic about getting involved in to this war, they were still recovering from the 2nd civil war. Soon Pro-Entente propaganda started to appear on news papers, radio shows and on the streets.
Germany went on to invest in their sphere of influence trying to gain even more support from their European allies.
