Era of Civil Wars
World was slowly turning into a darker place. For more than fifteen years the world had enjoyed a relatively peaceful times after the Weltkrieg. Of course couple of conflicts arose in the aftermath like the 1926 German Intervention in China and the British Revolution of 1925. But other than that nations had been in peace. Now it seemed that more and more nations had begun hostile towards each others. First it was Afghanistan versus Delhi, then Mongolia versus Xiabei. Then Portugal against us and the Republican Chinese revolution. Now in late January would bring us many wars. In Caribbean Haiti and Dominican Republic were fighting each other for the domination of Hispaniola.
Only few days later grave news came from Russia. Bukharin and his totalist followers had risen against the Democratic Russian Republic and the 2nd Russian Civil War had begun. All the socialistic states offered Bukharin their supplies and volunteers. But for the White forces only Canada and National France gave supplies, Germany, Finland and Japan did nothing. What would be the outcome of this war? Would Russia become Totalist haven or would it collapse into an eternal struggle between separatist and the legal government.
In Europe, radical socialists had "won" in Norway and now Norway had a new ally, Commune of France. The National Populist Sweden was not happy about this and began series of actions against socialists in their nation.
In February civil war broke out in United States of America. It was between Jack Reed's Combined Syndicates, Long's Union State and President Curtis's USA. Three way civil war where everyone was against each other. CSA set it's capital in Chicago and had support in the Great Lakes region while most of the Southern States rebelled with Long. Whoever was going to win this civil war would need to make great efforts to rebuild the American society and the "American Dream".
March 6th 1937 marked the end of German domination in China when von Falkenhausen surrendered to Republican China and her forces.
Liberia had long been a subject to USA and their authority but now they saw an opportunity to break free. But even they realized that to survive in this world of ours you need allies. So they asked the closet one they had (Note: Germany and Nat. France were both the closest) and choose to ask National France for protection but France said no. Was this to prevent any worse relations with the German Empire or did they just not want Liberia? Who knows.
But this was once again an opportunity to Göringstan...The Free State of Africa. To unite African people under one free nation. So the plan was set in motion and we claimed Liberia, this of course meant war. The Empire wasn't happy about this but it was a necessary move to secure African coast and prevent socialism to take hold of Liberia. Of course we couldn't use the Empires colony right next to Liberia even though we asked and it would have made our invasion easier. Now we had to invade from the sea and that would require some planning, good thing we had all ready build some transport ships from old vessels left by the Portuguese in Angola.

In the wake of the 2nd Civil War in Russia the Republic was transformed in to the 2nd Ga...Russian Empire, once again. And the real heir to the Romanov dynasty was made Tsar.
Similar thing happened in National France, except our neighbors decided to return to the old days of the kingdom and invited the living heir of the Bourbon dynasty to become their king.
Finally in April 22nd Katanga region was once again in our control and the rebels had either fled or been taken prisoners. Work in the mines could once again return to normal. For none rises against Hermann Göring! Hail Hy...Göring!

Like a disease they spread trough out the world
While we were preparing for an invasion to Liberia, more and more news about wars reached our continent. This time a war had broken out between Italian Federation and Syndicalist Italy backed by CoF.
And then another 3-way civil war. Kingdom of Spain now faced an uprising by Carlist pretender Francis Xabier de Bourbon-Parma and CNT-FAI. All fought for the mastery of Iberian peninsula. But this provided us with an opportunity.
Knowing that Spain could use supplies to help in the war against CNT-FAI and Carlist rebels, we send them an offer to buy Bata from their hands in Africa. For we could keep it safe from the socialist terrors.
Much of my pleasure Spain agreed to sell the small piece of land to us for a small price. Another great victory for us without bloodshed. Now Liberian problem could be solved.

Rise of Syndicalism
We continued to prepare for the invasion of Liberia. It would be the biggest military operation in Africa since the Weltkrieg and would hopefully be the most successful. But while we prepared our navy and land forces the world continued on and many of the civil wars were about to turn real ugly. In Spain the Syndicalist managed to threaten the Kingdom enough to force them to capitulate early on and gained an upper hand against the Carlist. This was worrying since the Soviets in Russia were also giving the Tsar's forces a hard resistance.
A dark shadow was falling over Europe when the combined forces of CoF and Sicilian Syndicalists defeated the Papal Federation and Italy was once again unified, this time under the syndicalist forces.
The People of Angola and Mozambique were quick to accept the new rule from Göringburgh (Dar es Salaam) and they were more than happy to be part of the future Free State of Africa.
Good news from across the (narrow) Atlantic Ocean. United States of America had managed to quell the rebellions of CSA and AUS by the end of October 9th. North America had been saved from the Syndicalist threat, for now. We shall see how President Curtis rebuilds his nation.
September 17th our forces had managed to land in Liberia and defeat the defenders. It took us many weeks to establish a foothold on the coast but the combined efforts of our navy, army and air forces was too much for the Liberians to handle and they were finally defeated and forced to surrender. I think Liberia...got Liberated..
In Europe the Empire met a betrayal when the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth declared that they will no longer bow to the Germans and overthrew the king. The Reichswehr was send to put down the Polish Nationalist and return order to Poland.
End of the Beginning
CNT-FAI was a clear victor of the Spanish Civil War. The surrender of the Kingdom gave them too much power and soon the Carlist supporters were routed and Iberia was in the hands of Syndicalism. Now Europe had been divided between Socialism in the West and Germany in East.
Despite the recent events in Spain and the CNT-FAI victory Portugal was stubborn and wanted to stand alone.
Polish and Lithuanian traitors were brought back under the Empire soon enough and both Lithuania and Poland were created a new with loyal cabinets of ministers.
And just when you thought that peace had come to Europe the illusion shattered. Ambassador Albert Dufour-Feronce was assassinated by anarchist group associated with the CoF. To retaliate this attack German Empire declared war on the Syndicalist Bloc and marched over the border. This was the beginning of 2nd Weltkrieg.
An early war WW2... an unexpected turn of events! Not actually sure who has the upper hand in this situation.
Well hopefully the Germans will have gained some useful experience in Poland and can hold.

Act 2
Offensive stale mate
In the first weeks of the War the French forces broke trough the defenses in Flanders-Wallonia and quickly proceeded to occupy the lands and to establish a defensive line in the north from the Netherlands border to prevent Germans from moving troops. Offensive stale mate
Canada and Entente saw the war between CoF and German Empire as an opportunity to return to the isles and war was declared. The Weltkrieg 2 had begun.
Towards end of April the frontline was starting to form around the all ready existing borders and the Flanders-Wallonia border in the north. Both sides did small offensive trips on the opposite side of the border but each time both sides were pushed back and a status quo remained.
To break this status quo Union of Britain decided to drag Denmark in to the war, hoping to force German troops to be assigned to defend the peninsula from British assaults. Germany naturally agreed to help Denmark to defend but maybe they knew that UoB wasn't going to launch invasions from the sea. The war remained a one front war, for now.
South African politics update
Our southern neighbor hold an election, well kind of , sort of. The ruling party called the United Party managed to hold on to the government seats they had and even managed to get more power. Power that they could use for either good or evil.
Unlike in Freestate of Central Africa the South Africans introduced racial segregation in their line of new political reforms.
But separating the population in to races wasn't enough for them. Mixed marriage was now prohibited too. As well as new laws for representation in the voters. Meaning that those of not white skin were to be represented differently.
And all the laws were passed with a huge majority in the parliament with thunderous applause. At least now there was more liberty in Freistaat than in other African nations.
But the population of South Africa wasn't going to give up their liberty and rights that easily. First they demanded the government to stop these reforms and revert back to the old policies but the government refused and soon the protests turned to more violent and the government response was even more violent. Could another civil war be brewing south of us?

You must bring freedom and liberty to the people of South Africa! Surely Goering will set them right!
Well that depends on what SA chooses to ally. Best case for me now that Weltkrieg is on would be SA to stay isolated but it can still choose Entente or something else I guess, Syndies if the worst happens. But we shall see how and when SA will be integrated into Freistaat as it should be. It all depends on what they choose as if they choose Entente it means war of two fronts for me. Syndies not that bad since all I need is to cover my beaches and I win. But yeah. We shall see what they choose.
