I love all of these changes and the DD's!

I'm just a TINY bit worried about the seconds picture with Great Britain being portrayed as a secondary power, and the Naval bases (although I could be wrong, and it could just only be T5 that can only be built 1-per-state). I'm sure that has been fixed, I just am worried about other bugs that could be a little more serious.

It's good that the AI is better programmed to avoid bad factories, but is anything being done to make these bad factories less of a disaster? Fertiliser, Canned Food, Artillery factories, all of which are almost guaranteed to either be walking subsidy or unemployment time bombs.

It had better be on GG, I have a GG copy of Victoria 2 and AHD, and my experience so far has been GG and Steam versions are incompatible, so if you have a GG version and buy a Steam expansion it doesn't work.

Hope they release it on GG as well as Steam, though it does seem that Paradox is gearing towards more Steam downloads.

If it is available for GG then I definately plan on buying it. If they do preorders I will also preorder it. This expansion sounds great.

Don't worry, only EU4 is going to be Steam only right now, they won't cut everyone off from the current games.

This DLC will be so great, if you release some new sprite packages for soldiers of course.

HoD will have new sprites. There is a thread and many new German/Prussian sprites have been posted

Where are you seeing GB as a secondary power? And what's wrong with the naval bases?

Though GB is still number 1, if you look you can see the border around their country is that of a secondary power. Why this is I don't know.

RP is research point. So you conquer research points so that when, say, you go into Russia it's not a huge hit to your literacy and research overall.

Technically, The United Kingdom (of Great Britain and Ireland) is more accurate as it's the legal name of the country since union in 1801 between kingdoms of Great Britain and Ireland. Great Britain, as a kingdom, refers only to country encompassing Scotland and England/Wales between 1707 Act of Union and the Act of Union 1801. Curiously, though, you can't form the United Kingdom after 1800 in EU3 but that's probably because game ends so soon after that date anyway so really no point in adding such country to replace Great Britain. Oddly enough, Great Britain in EU3 covers Ireland as well, even though latter was actually in personal union with former and was never really annexed until 1801.

Now if only we could also get some guarantee that Satellites and Dominions and Substates couldn't become Great Powers without first fighting for their Independence. This might make forming the South German Federation as Austria actually worthwhile rather than the quickest way for Austria to lose all of their Influence in Germany and just wind up with yet another German Rival who instantly hates their guts.

Or atleast decrease the amount of prestige they start off with...

Had a liberated and civilized Algeria jump straight to #10, #9 in prestige. Canada almost always becomes a GP when released by UK (in APD mod).

That said, can't wait for it to be released. Victoria 2 is my all time favourite game.

In the German version of the game it uses "Großbritannien" - Great Britain.

In AHD virtually every uncivilized nation beside Japan was unplayable. I hope you loosen restrictions on westernization further. By researching most nations take upto 70~80 years before westernizing and it's very boring.

Not really. Except, it should take that amount of time. Japan historically "westernized" quickly, though other nations did not. Take Qing China for example.
