Ok, very intersting. I must have played less during this time and therefore never noticed it.

However: "The Rubricator world, the Omnicodex world, and the Miniature Galaxy world." Two of these i dont even know existed. I still feel like i am playing a different game xD. Or missing access to some super secret DLC money cant buy
I play a stupid amount of this game (narrowing in on 4k hours) and there are still several events I've never seen and only know exist from looking inside the game. The miniature galaxy relic world is rare. There's also one where an AI has taken over and would likely very much to be repaired, which is my favorite relic world story.

I believe the Omnicodex will always spawn. The chance for Rubricator is fairly high as well.

Miniature Galaxy is pretty rare, in that I probably see 1 out of 10 runs or so.

I've had the opposite experience, honestly. I get the Rubricator 2/3 of the games, and get the miniature galaxy spawn in maybe 40%. But the Omnicodex is quite rare for me, and annoyingly I always seem to get it when the active effect is useless to me.

Rubricator used to happen in every game, it's been nerfed since then. Zarqlan, on the other hand, seems to happen in every single game there's a Spiritual FE that doesn't hate you.

These special worlds spawn chance depends on galaxy size.
So if you tend to play on bigger galaxies you will see them more often than if you usally play on smaller ones.

Until quite recently I thought head of Zarqlan was just a guaranteed event in all playthroughs, for whatever reason. So that players losing wars have a potential comeback mechanic? Or so you always have an easy way of colonising those holy worlds?

But yeah, turns out, it actually sometimes doesn't happen!

It's dependent on on whether the Spiritualist FE is in game or not.

I think you under-estimate how strong their fleets are. They have bonus weapon slots that normal ships of the same class don't get.
Their loadout is suboptimal and by the time the digsites spawns I tend to have my mono BB fleets ready so I don't want to use them.

It is guranteed as long as the spiritualists FE spawned at the start of the game.

They were quite common when they were first introduced. Like many features, they were showcased at first, then the devs reduced the chance of them showing up to make feel more special. Though you can still stumble across multiples. In my current DS game, I have three relic worlds. The Rubricator world, the Omnicodex world, and the Miniature Galaxy world.
I had four in one game (all of those, plus the one where a planetary AI is being eaten by a computer virus or something). It wasn't that long ago either (maybe the previous patch before Overlord?). I never bother to take the AP that lets you create your own ecumenopoli, and I've never missed it.
