HBS Internal PvP Tournament

Launch week kind of tanked this but as far as I know we're still moving it forward. I'm still gunning for Eck as we're both undefeated >_>

Hmm... This is a conundrum. I normally like to root for the underdog, but Eck is streaming Battletech for us. I'll have to figure out my rooting interest.

While melee attack can be an exceptionally powerful tool in a MechCommander's arsenal, this probably wouldn't be a great strategy in the single-player campaign considering I had expected the Dragon to get cored at some point, or get surrounded and sniped off.

I've actually been brawling it up all campaign, an whilst it has a high pilot turnover (RIP Chris Eck, you were a brief but good pilot, got me to start looking into tactics for my pilots,) It does do a great job of getting me fresh mechs to replace the ones that get scrapped. Also, the occasional luck headshot inna brawl only takes a day to repair and a quick stop into the hiring hall to get a fresh pilot.

Glad to hear it! Will be patiently looking forward for more tournament reports. And good luck gunning for Eck! (what is a tournament without at least two undefeated players? )
In the meantime I will keep going with the campaign (too much work and travel, still on the beginning...feeling guilty to enjoy the milk runs as I'm not exploiting the full potential of the game yet)
