I just received a set of beta codes for The Showdown Effect (love the game so far, by the way). I've been trying to get into the beta forums, but the key I used isn't being accepted by your form. I read somewhere that I had to install "The Showdown Effect" through Steam and look for my CD key there, but I can only find the beta version listed on my Steam account and that doesn't have a "CD key" option. Is there something I'm missing?

Yes. I've tried following the instructions in the post but am unable to register the game on my account because it is not accepting the game key I received in my email. I can't access the beta forums because of this.
Usually you use the key you bought on GG or Steam or whatever to activate your access to the game on Steam. then and only then can you get the "CD Key" (actually forum registration key) from Steam, as per this post. The first key you get won't work here.
