Jan 1941, im Communist China. I havent raised threat on the Soviet Union either. Japan/Italy/Hungary & Bulgaria (not Romania) have all declared War on the Soviet Union, but Germany has not. Finland joined the Axis in Nov 1940 but has a truce with the Soviet Union.

Then the USA ended up in the Comintern and the whole game went to hell...

What did i do? I annexed Xibei San ma, that was it.

I've been playing a few Communist China games lately, but haven't seen something like what you describe. The weirdest thing I saw is a three-way world war between the factions.

USA in the Comintern happens from time to time, I think it's because Japan declares war on USA when the Axis is at war with the Comintern but not with the allies.

Actually in my game the Axis was at war with the Allies so i have no idea what happened.

Look for a save from the time just before Japan attacked. If Japan is at war with both factions, and the Comintern holds more VP than the Allies at the time of the attack, the USA go Comintern.

Talk about one of the least likely events to have occurred in real life! Playing that game must be wild. I'm guessing the US would have to invade N Africa directly from the States, and then attack into Europe from there.
