Have you managed to play from the start to the end. I did it recently with Prussia/Germany. In end i owned North Africa, Ethiopia, West Australia, East France, Sardinia-Piedmonte, all German-culture provinces in Austria. Danmark, Netherlands, Belgium. Balkan. Hungary, Poland

Even so, i'm surprised that they did not have higher prestige/industry rankings sufficient to beat you. pretty rare that conquest wins the game because of the other two categories ....

I have several times, Sweden/scandinavia, Japan, China, Germany, all are finished GC, I even extended some of those beyond 1920 just to see the end of interesting wars as well as to play around with my might.

Nope. I'm one of those ppl that start new games over and over again. Though now I've played with Prussia for awhile. I'd prolly pull it through if Johan stops coding those patches and VIP team ceases to release new mods for a while.

Yes, 10 with 1.03. Mostly third-tier nations like Brazil and Peru. I had a nice one with France, however.

Finished one with Portugal a couple of days ago (I tend to finish most), ended 2nd or 3rd. I cheated a bit, in that I layed claims in a lot of places (Angola to Moçambique, including Rhodesia, and north to Fashoda) but only claimed them as colonies after I had all the prestige gain boosting techs. World Power prestige (for WM purposes) was achieved with culture before that. The games was going fine, I'd just been conquering in South America, when the Ottos declared war (late 1917). I didn't manage to move the army and push them back before the game ended, so I think I need another one to get closure.

Do you mean a GC game? Yes, several. Do you mean interrupted with saving and reloading, or all in one long sitting? I hope you hit pause and get up occasionally to stretch your legs.

the very first game i ever played on vikky, all the way throught with france, it didn't go well

i had no idea what to do so i saved it and left it for about a month and start to play it again i couldn't recover from my early mistakes but i stuck to it and ended up with nothing!!

I usually quit after my empire groves too large. When English fleet is destroyed and Russian hordes retreat to Moscow, game become boring...

I just completed a grand campaign as Chile. I thought the end date would've been Dec. 1918 so I was trying to wrap up everything by then. But when the game didn't end, I just sat around cuz I thought it would be 1919... but nope... it went another year... ended in 1920.

Rather anticlimatic, but only because I spent the last two years sittin on my bum. I could've finished off Ecuador or Colombia in that time

I ranked 12th. I wasn't going for world conquest, just a simple west coast of South America, allied to Brazil which owned the east coast.
