Have you ever been paradropped?

Its about as direct as i can make it to be.

Im asking this because i do recall one situation where the AI paradropped me, on the '44 scenario. It was an utterly useless waste of life, as they landed onto the rear of Cherbourgh, which was undefended, and proceeded to die to a very angry Panzer Division.

The AI at least tries to do naval invasions after some patching, thank gott, but the conditions for an airborne drop have to be impeccable for it to occur.

I think he means has the AI ever conducted a paradrop/air assault on you? In the All-in-One mod, the German AI paradrops on AI Norway and it's very effective. The airborne unit usually takes Oslo and then the German Army reinforces by sea. I'm not sure how successful it would be against a human though.

I understood what topic's title means, just never seen AI using paratroopers other than infantry

Yep once it seems to be very very rare.
