Have we seen traffic congestion overlays?

I have looked at every screenshot and dev dairy but I can't see any traffic congestion overlay - like what SC4/SC2013 have, an easy way to identify traffic hotspots from a birds eye view (rather than zooming down to see individual cars).

Has anyone seen this or can devs confirm it is in?

I have not seen this after reviewing all the videos. Its possible there is one or will be one. Then again maybe there wont be one. There has been no mention of a rush hour. If there were no rush hour and therefore no recognizable routine (go to work, work, go home, etc) then there may be no need for a traffic overlay as there will not be any pattern to address. Except maybe bottle necks where many routes converge into one or something.

The question is, will it even be necessary? It was vital in SC4 for because traffic was not actually simulated. I think that with traffic being simulated, it may make the overlay a moot point. Just watch the traffic congestion in real time! I assume there will also be messages and warning from the birdy thingy, which could alert you too bad areas. Although I still wouldn't mind having the overlay, however, I may not even need it or use it.

It'll be an optional overlay for sure. Handy for working out congestion when upgrading roads or planning better routes. Maybe an underground *future addition* tunnel to bypass the city for you sir?

The closest I've seen was an overlay for noise pollution. This should give you a good birds eye view of where the traffic hotspots are.

However, I think this method might break down in your industrial areas.

I think it's quite clear on the top left corner.

looks like :

Power / Water / Garbage / Goods(?)
Happiness / Health / Age(?) / Building level
Wind / Traffic / Soil Pollution / Noise Pollution
Fire risk / Criminality / Public transport / ?
? / Land value / Natural Resources / Districts(?)
