Returning to Stellaris 2.2 after last having played 1.9. Asking the community, since I don't want to waste several hours playing a broken game, and will rather start with non-HM.

and this: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...d-to-have-residence-like-citizenship.1088867/

TL;DR: Hive Minds can only genetically ascend, where the whole point is to modify your subspecies to different tasks. Without the ability to set rights, you effectively can't modify a leader caste, even though there are specific genemod perks to this effect.

Are Hive Minds now able to set "residence" citizenship & "soldiers only" military service to assimilated species? If not, does anyone have an idea if/when this will be in the works?

Thanks in advance.
