Is it possible to modding more than 2 planes slots to same research years?? but each of them have different status.
example : research year is 1942
I added japanese ki-61 and n1k to 1942 research year, but they have unique combat ability and status

Ex.
ki-61
soft attack : 27.00
hard attack : 8.00
air attack : 32.00
air defence : 29.00

n1k
soft attack : 23.00
hard attack : 11.00
air attack : 38.00
air defence : 34.00

You could mod in more aircrafts to the tech tree if you wan't but you can use the ingame variant system (you could mod the variant system if you don't like the choices) to create similar but differen't aircrafts.

The one thing missing, as I understand the game design, using the variant system would be a different picture for the different models. You can call them Ki-61 and N1K-J but they will have the same picture (those two planes for example would not normally be mistaken for the other). Not game breaking by any means but probably important to anyone who thinks there should be 2 different model aircraft in the same tech year.
