EU3 is inComplete! /runs for the hills

Though to interpret his words as suggesting that the demo will be here before release in this case also may be a stretch.

I still wonder if it's going to be a cropped map, or limited gametime, or what? EU3 was the whole thing but limited you to like one country for 50 years, right?

IIRC it also didn't have events etc.
I'd expect that most of the datafiles would be missing, so say only a few techs, not that many units etc. Possibly even no naval units?

And no.. the spritepacks are not finished yet.. (Will be at aug 7th or our 3d artist will feel the whip.) 90% of the sprites for those were done after we had "feature freeze" on the game for the gold.

Not sure if this means it has gone gold or not

But either way by the sounds of it, Aug 7th is LOCKED

Looks like he is skirting around the fact it has gone gold, but I dont think he means it is, it just means theres a certain amount of features that will be on the gold version, and 90% of the sprites were finished after they decided not to add any more features for the gold version.

In other words, we get a Day 0 patch. Not that I am complaining. I rather download a patch and get the game a week earlier than waiting even longer...
