Didn't hear anything about it for months. I begin to fear that Paradox pulled the plug for this game like with Gettysburg?
I don't want to spread false rumors thats why I ask...

Beh, I still feel it's kinda cheap to release an unfinished game. I've been promised MP and I'll be megasad if it doesnt show up soon. Where are the posts from the devs, cant they just clarify some things? Everyone's just speculating
Its a good thing Darth Vader doesnt moderate this forum... He'd find your lack of faith disturbing.
I on the other hand appreciate as a gamer, that we do not want to be led up the garden path - so to speak.
Honestly Id just you for some patience and check back on the forums every day or so.
Yes yes, make them references. Yet the fact that a game is released without being fully developed yet makes me lack faith in the gaming industry indeed. DLC are different from this ofcourse. I honestly think that having released the Koatl dlc before the MP patch was a huge mistake, it's like saying the MP is just a bonus we're going to get.
But o well, me arguing about is isn't going to make it appear quicker.
Where are the devs, where are the official posts about patches and where the heck are there dates?
Weird, I do not remember "contains multiplayer capability" on any box, review, demo, or even on a menu in game. If it was not promised then it is hard to blame them for it not being there.
As for the gaming industry and multiplayer version. For turn based strategy games there was many polls done. The market study showed that it was less than 20% of players who bought the game who actually played the game multiplayer. So game developers use that while making their games. By removing multiplayer for release they get more time they can spend elsewhere. After release they have the funds and time to work on a patch for the multiplayer. Fallen Enchantress is doing the same thing.

I´m a little uneasy about the continued silence. After less than two months after release the game has been offered at a bargain price - I wonder why...
Perhaps to generate more income? Get more people playing the game?
Maybe its just me, but there appears to be a lot of cynicism among some of you guys.
We´re having high expectations and don´t want to be disappointed.

I wasn´t actually complaining. It´s more like... I really like this game and I want it to be successful, so it will be continued, improved, expanded. It´s just a little fear that it might not go on. But from now on I´m trying to be patient![]()
