Yup, I am going there...
Will going for historical focuses and delaying turning Fascist ensure the subjects' loyalty? I understand that the first conquest should be Benelux into France(for the Union) or justifying on USA ASAP, and I would prefer the latter, but I need to make sure Canada stays loyal until then.
Paradox decided to let the AI change its behaviour depending on what the player picks, and I do not know how that will affect the colonies.
After USA I am considering attacking Spain, then France. Spain is now much weaker after the Civil War, and I won't have to do naval invasions, hurray!
After the invasion of France, I'll justify around and let Germany slog it out with USSR. I've noticed that the war turns into a slogfest nowadays, which gives me time to annex the rest before messing up Germany and the Soviets.
Although I would love to hear your suggestions. Maybe I should declare war on either of them for the faster justification? So many possibilities...
