Has anyone made an independent French Models pack?

Just curious.

France is a major in HoI2, yet they do not have much in the way of Model picture variation (for instance they only have one infantry model picture!) Has anyone done a range of model pictures I can download that does not require me to download a whole mod (and likely a different tech tree anyhoo)?

Not that I know of. However they are very easy to do DIY but if you don't know how you can give some pictures and I'll do them for you.

The next release of CORE will have plenty of French graphics - but it won't be compatible with Vanilla 1:1. But there should be enough image material to convert to a Vanilla game I reckon.

Oh, I can do them myself, its just that rather than look for source images and then make them myself I thought I would inquire if someone had already done them (no need to reinvent the wheel so to speak).

As far as I am aware SKIF does unit icons, not Division and Brigade model pictures.

Your best bet is going to the DMP website (http://www.heartsofiron.eu/index_en.htm), signing up and navigating your way to the Hoi2 download section. You can get independent french models there I think as well as icons.
