Pretty much what it says on the tin.
Now that Trebizond no longer borders Candar, and seems to be Qara Qoyunlu's first target of choice, they seem to be rather a lot harder (But at least the generic NIs are gone!)
But at the same time, they strike me as one of those factions where if you have a good start, you're pretty much set for the rest of the game, like Tabarastan, or a few other minors. So, has anyone had any luck with a start with Trebizond? At the moment from what I can tell, sneaking up into the Caucasian minors/Georgia and building a power base there seems like a good plan, but this still doesn't stop the QQ from attacking or vassalizing you.
Would the old Albania strategy of declaring war on someone, occupying a province and then getting out with a pretty generous peace treaty (like just giving ducats or a concession of defeat) simply because the AI can't annex you if you have a province occupied work?
Thanks in advance!
