Hello everyone!

I'd like to start a new GC'36 with Germany which should give me quite a challenge. I will start it on very hard, but have some questions:

- Lothos suggested (with HOI 2 1.3b), you should put AI-Agressivness to Normal, because on the "harder" settings (Furious for example) the AI may do suicidal missions. What agressiveness is preferable?

- Are there other things I should be aware of? Like not doing a sealion before Barbarossa? No IC-buildup in the pre-war-years? Anything making the game harder without crippling it.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Beckmann.

This is what I do to increase the difficulty. First let me say I don't like artificial advantages, so I customize the difficulty settings.

I give all AI nations a 40% boost in IC, 40% boost in resources and a 40% boost in manpower. Sometimes I go up to 60% when Im feeling like I really want a rough go.

I leave reseach, org, combat, move speed, dissent, diplomacy and intelligence alone. I find these to be artificial, whereas increasing the IC/Resources/Manpower are more natural boosts.
