1) I'd rather this wasn't being determined by the checksum - it seems destined to produce confusing results like this. If it's all driven off one seed, just generate one new seed per game - possibly even have an advanced option to recover and re-use a particular seed?
2) I believe some characters have pre-programmed orientations, and even though I'm bi myself and an advocate of more representation, I think there's a good historical/mythical argument for setting Fairhair to be straight every time. (Trying to think of a suitable non-straight example who's alive during CK3's limited range of start dates; while it's not a dead cert by any means, I would also support William Rufus being specifically set to be bi or gay. Outside what can be hard-coded, but within the general timeframe, Richard the Lionheart being bi and Malcolm the Maiden being ace suggest themselves.)
3) I generally like the game's approach to representation of sexuality, but you shouldn't have to set it to equal distribution in order to re-randomise it.
4) Representing Elagabalus is a tricky one. I don't think it's fair to mock the game's current implementation there.
