But remember that not everyone playing HoI2 will be playing Germany (I know; what a shocker!). I myself look forward to playing the UK now that naval combat has been overhauled.
Finally, the moddable difficulty parameters allow for a great deal of flexibility in terms of difficulty - if you're a Germany fanboy, you can just mod the game so that the Soviet and Allied AI are given advantages.
