PRESTIGE DOESN'T MATTER AT ALL IN EU3! You should take 10 prestige hit. That value you got was prestige DECAY which only sets your prestige to 0. I am sure that 50 admin power is worth much more than 10 prestige. As long as prestige is over 0, it is good. Actualy, as long as it is not super low(like -100) it is good enough - unless you got a PU.

Chill man, sure he has made some errors but he is new the game and talking / thinking / acting simultaneously while trying to both A) "win" the game and B) entertain.

I enjoy the videos at least Quill, thanks for all your time spent on them, real treat!

Ok i chilled out now. But it is realy annoying to watch when people make so basic mistakes...

EDIT: Btw. while Men at arms and Longbowmen units are pretty equal. i prefer longbowman, because they give more shock damage, so drain enemy manpower more. They lose a bit in morale phase, but i tend to favour manpower over morale, and ability to inflict more damage than the enemy, is good when you fight wars when both sides have low manpower.

Which is surprising, they are the only coalition creators at the beginning of the game. Which is why I suspect the wars with Austria and Hungary always blew up.

I don't think it is anymore, I believe it became a Monarchy earlier after choosing to keep the same man in power repeatedly.

Papal states != Papal controller. Though it would make sense for the Pope to always be able to initiate coalitions as well. That said, you only need diplo tech 6 in order to dot hat without the Pope so that advantage is not really one...
