hello boys and gals wat do u think will johan and hes posse do with the gold rush in australia in the 1950's do u think he will give a massive population boost to the aussies and stuff like that. cause around that time melbourne was the fastest growing city in the world i think there was alot of racial tension between the anglos and the chinese because the chinese were gettin all the gold and then they went back to china to spend there earnings so the anglos were gettin pissed and that started chinese bashing season where the whiteys were bashing up the chinese. the chinese were usually very out numbered

ps. i dont kno when the american gold rush started but it probably was very much the same

US gold rush was in 1849.

I imagine that the provinces historically affected by the rushes will have an increase of population growth, as well as a much higher income rate during the years the Gold Rush affected the area.

After the Californian gold rush ended, there was a gold rush in the Cariboo region of BC in the 1860's. Alot of californians, and others, made their way to the province. Many went home afterwards, some stayed. This was an important event for the colonization of the area. Other goldrushes in the klondike, and in Alaska were of equal importance.

There should be events for these, they were very important for the early colonization of these areas.

maybe gold in a province will increase its "desireability" and more people will go there ?
