Yesterday I hosted a non-hist. game. First time I hosted, the hacker crashed my game almost as soon as I hosted the lobby. The second time I hosted, the hacker joined, then started kicking people at random from the lobby. So... I hosted a third time. And its a success...or at least we thought so. The game filled and started without any problems. That was until France came into my discord VC and shared his screen. He showed me how the hacker had buffed France. He had given him unlimited PP, unlimited Army/Navy/Air XP, instant focus and research abilities, etc. The hacker was having a fun time playing with his prey. So we had to leave and after that I simply gave up. Why host a fourth time when the same thing was going to happen. The hacker was ruining other lobbies as well as mine, so barely anyone could play.
This reminds me of April 1st, 2022 when many hackers were on for April Fools Day hacking all day preventing any games from being played.
What is the plan to deal with these hackers? Does Paradox have one? This is clearly a huge problem that must be dealt with as soon as possible. One solution is revoking the abilities of hackers to play HoI IV if a way of detecting hackers was implemented. Perhaps people have other solutions. Its very worrying that this is such a huge issue in a game that released back in 2016.
