I use mzilli's Better Terraforming Candidates and using Artificial Panspermia on a barren planet with an existing Habitat (it had 4 Exotic Gasses deposit -- from The Surveyor -- and 1 Zro deposit ) yielded a terraforming candidate.
  • Can I still terraform the planet even with a Habitat?
  • If I terraform the planet, what happens to the Habitat?
  • If the Habitat remains after the planet is terraformed, what happens to the deposits in the Habitat? Does it revert to the planet, stay on the Habitat or accessible to both?
Speaking of which... I haven't built a Habitat atop an inhabited world...
  • What happens if you place a Habitat atop an inhabited planet with Exotic Gasses/Rare Crystal/Volatile Motes deposits?
  • What happens if you place a Habitat atop an inhabited Relic World with the Industrial Sector -- cleared Massive Crevice -- planetary feature?

I can answer this one: you don't get Exotic Gas/Rare Crystal/Volitile Mote jobs on the habitat. The Life-Seeded origin starts on a Gaia world with one terrain feature for each basic rare resource, and when I build a habitat over it, there are no rare resource jobs on the habitat.
I'd assume the same is the case for a Relic World.

As far as I remember habitats only check the planet they are build around on creation, after this any changes to the planet doesn't affect the habitat.

Would the same be for a planet that was terraformed while it had orbital deposits?
