2Coats: I do not want the revolver....i will take my pop's old Luger instead. The sound of it firing will confuse the germans....they might think that it is friendly fire (or some Brit with a Luger, either way).

So what happened with the Sten? Since it wasn't in service in 1939, what's the weapon selection now?

I think we are just the command to test the prototype Sten gun before its release to normal action later this war
I'm applying for LURKER platoon as I've lurked this forum since HoI got released and my grades have fallen down alot!

Thompson was actually purchased from US but UK before the intro of the Sten. Bren LMG replaces the Lewis gun as it also was in service.
Blitzkreig is the only one allowed German wpns, except Pinkus-Pils who has the luger.

Also, LadyBug and Morpheus506 sorry but the equipment you want added is abit to far into the future to realistically write in....at least for now! I will invetigate the possibility of silencer pistols/revolvers. Dont think the Tommys had the chance to be slineced. But we will get the chance to pre-test equipment before it was historically available, but not too early!
Also we will be sent on mission and capture some experimental weaponry!
If you can help me out and find sites that detail a special weapon or equipment type you want to add please post or PM it to me!Lets have some fun!

how much ammo do we get how big is the clip size and how many grenades. for all wepens
about 9mags eachs for the bren, smgs and Enfield rifles.
Sniper rifle and the KAR38 has 50 rounds loose. Revolvers have 6rnds only, no extras as its a wpn of last resort.
Lugers have 5mags each and no refils once we get back.
Greandes numbers are indicated in the prev post. 2 of each type.
Oh any volunteers for Satchel Charge carriers. Cant be if you have Bren, or sniper rifle!
Please make a suggestion if any of you disagree.

The Tommy of that era had 100-round drums. We shouldn't be able to carry more than two of those. 200 rounds of .45 ammo equals Very Heavy. However, having someone point it at you and go bang a few times does sting. A crude silencer can be made from beer cans and insulation or the like, and as an American, I should have a copious share of empty beer cans for one-shot uses--obviously no good for the Tommy, but okay for a sniper rifle.
Are we going in sanitized, Captain, old chap? If not, I assume we wear the British uniform (once described by W.E.B. Griffin as made from rejected horse blankets) with the distinguishing marks of foreign volunteers. In that case, the national tab (British call this a 'flash') on the proper shoulder for me says simply "KANSAS" above a sunflower on which are superimposed the crossed sabres of cavalry and the number 7.
I assume that we won't be needing the bugle, but I'll bring it if you want.

If it's not too late, I'll take take the Thompson instead of the .303 rifle. Screw that damn rifle, couldn't hit anything anyways. With the Thompson I will just spray the enemy with bullets...one of 'em has got to hit the target!
About the AAR, the part about my family and its involvement in WWI is true. Oddly, part of my family lived basically on the Franco/German border. One relative joined the French army (don't know why, blacksheep maybe) while the rest joined the Kaiser and Germany. At the same time, relatives in the US (same branch of my family) were joining the US army! I doubt there are many people in the world who can say that!
