I have noticed that for HIP that there isn't a strategy guide out there for us to study. Although this isn't entirely an issue I was wondering if the team could whip up something for the community. Personally I would if I could but unfortunately I simply haven't the experience necessary nor the understanding of hip to do so. I reckon this would be extremely helpful for long term players of vanilla crusader kings 2 such as myself. Thoughts?

The team does not have time for that, in any amount, for the foreseeable future. It's up to them to state that, but I'm fairly certain that's what all the HIP team members would agree on. All of the time they have for HIP goes into modding, and there is still a very long To Do List ahead of them.

What is really needed is help from the community. More HIP players willing to do these non-essential things that would be beneficial, because I completely agree with you about the need. There are various threads that pop up where players suggest something to enhance HIP, that has nothing to do with modding. All of the posters have their hearts in the right place, but may not understand how the HIP team works.

Things like a strategy guide, a compatible mods list, a list of every feature added explained in detail, a list of characters, etc. All of these suggestions are things that would be good to have, but are not essential to the creation and release of HIP. They are not necessarily new suggestions that no one has thought would be nice to have before, but they are things that no one from the community has taken time to do for HIP.

Unless a fan wants to put the work in, there won't be a strategy guide of any kind.

Here's an idea though: We could start a thread where community members give out their advice/strategies/tips at their length and convenience. Someone who has a favorite start could post their strategy. Someone else could post about general strategies for Tribals/Nomads. The idea is that this is more likely than a fleshed out, full strategy guide. Instead of one person doing a whole lot of work, the community could create it organically. The Original Poster could even link to different posts on the OP if the thread became large enough, making it easier to navigate.

I wouldn't mind giving some tips or general strategies, or whatever I feel might be helpful. I only want to do it occasionally though, and such a thread would die quickly. I think a community led sticky Thread about strategies would be quite awesome, and most importantly doable.
