Hi i just bought the complete version of EU3 off of steam without realising there were another 2 expansions afterward. But ive been having an insane amount of trouble playing without being butchered by everyone who smells weakness witch i would say i reak of. But anyway are there any guides still out there for IN that could help me out

o ok thanks for the link but i dont see where to change the difficulty.... i opened the game options and found where it was at in rome EU but the yearly save slider. The options button when selecting a coutry was also grayed out

This helped me as beginner some time ago a lot! Also it opened up some new questions but for the start you can defenetely learn a lot there. I suggest the wiki as well
The difficulty level is set at the game start screen along with several other options. Once you start a game you can't change any of those options without getting into save editing.
Another potential source of difficulty is choosing a poor starter nation. Unlike many other strategy type games, all nations are not balanced equally and some that might look strong actually are in pretty lousy condition for a variety of reasons.
