nice choice, it was obviously brazil, but those cities are hard to figure out.
ok, here's the next one, i'm not really sure how hard this is. i guess we'll find out.

Not much of a skyline there, just a close-up shot of a building complex + road.
Nevertheless, the blue street free way looks like the ones used in Germany (and Austria). The tower gave it away though. It's the RWE tower in Essen. Despite that, I don't like the image much.

yeah it's essen. the picture shows the skyline of the city center. it's not really a big city. and it's on a relatively small area.
entire city skyline would reveal too much. even city center skyline was apparently enough for an answer in less than 20 minutes.
the real problem is finding pictures of essen, because, after a while you get just food.

While looking for an image of this city, I stumbled over this pretty black and white picture.

you may want to give folks a hint or something. i'm on vacation. took an arrow to the knee while identifying cities.
