Tip 1: The climate of the area in which this city is located is Humid Subtropical (Köppen climate classification Cfa or Cwa)

I come to believe that it is city in China because according to Wikipedia, one fourth of Mainland China has Humid Subtropical climate. Problem is, that does not reduce to cities by a lot because China is huge.
Here are a few guesses of Chinese cities with humid subtropical climate.

- Chengdu
- Hangzhou
- Maccau
- Yangzhou

(The architecture of Chengdu looks most similar to your image though.)

Ok... too many clock towers today... I return and it couldn't be more difficult to start again... Closest I got with the clock tower was Pienza, but it still seems a bit off... gonna guess the city anyway.... so Pienza...

I give you a little hint which might help you: A member of House Sforza ruled over this city at some point in history.
