I suggest a few more rules to the already existing ones. These are open for debate.
- The skyline needs to be either:
- A generally, well-known city
- A town of historic importance
- A popular tourist destination
- The image of the skyline shall have a high-enough resolution.
- The image shall have one or more clues that help solving the skyline (for example notable architecture, monuments, riverside, city walls, etc)
I could live with that. But it would be sort of hard... What constitutes a well known city? If I put up, say Port Morseby, capital of Papua New Guinea, would that be considered well known enough? Capitals should be a given, even if they're well known or not.
Does a strange looking steeple on a church count as a clue? Do mountians in the background? And how big is high resolution? should we start at 2MP?
