Guess the Skyline!

Ok, one hint before I go to bed: The city used to be an important center of trade, mainly in textile products
^^ If it is Gorlitz, its a bad picture of Gorlitz; it doesnt have the railway station or the church, which are key indicators of the town... though Gorlitz does have wind turbines... so it might be right.

Oh well. it is Gorlitz, so that wasn't body of water as I thought but huge forest indeed... And the church is visible... but from a side and not easily recognizable I'd say...
Yes, it is Görlitz, congratulations. It is an unusual angle but it shows the old center and the polish part Zgorzelec.
I had to go back to the previous page to see if you posted the same skyline again. They look very similar.

Do I see the remanants of a wall there? I also see a rail station. And on the hill, is that a college? Or a convention centre? Also there is a large outcrop with some sort of ruin on it. The archetecture is very European; Central Europe; perhaps Germania or Nevereverlands... perhaps not Nevereverlands; the river looks too narrow to be too close to the coast; Wish it was higher def...

It's about as far off the coast as Nijmegen, but quite a bit away from that city.

Heavily urbanized area in Europe. The river and College (indeed) setup should allow identification. Unless you know it, you likely wo't guess it.
