well since my plane got a bit crowded out i'll use this time to start page 5:

alright, i'll try doing this for a change. hopefully my plane doesn't get called out immediately! (as always, the identifying markers have been edited out)

now this quirky plane has been featured in war thunder in Gaijin Games equivalent of a dev diary. if you play WT and/or read keep up to date with it's developments (meaning you know what this plane is), don't spoil it!

Hehe I never read the War Thunder 'Dev Diaries' but a friend of mine showed me exactly this one sometime ago because he liked the aircrafts design design. Im not gonna spoil it though but it's a funny coincidence that of all the dev diaries they post which I don't read this is the one I accidentally saw.

Oh and the 'plane' I posted earlier isn't the V3 or an 'Amerika Bomber' jcd000 and aruon, Keep Guessing

Hmmm.... Beriew MBR-2?

bingo! the Beriev MBR-2 MBR is an acronym of “morskoy blizhniy razvedchik” (short-range marine scout) (here's that war thunder article i referenced https://warthunder.com/en/devblog/current/887) was a bizarre flying boat built as a recon/light bomber multipurpose aircraft for the soviet navy that entered service in 1935, 4 years after its first flight. it's oddest aspects were it's single massive engine and push propeller suspended above the plane so as to keep it away from the water, and its quintessentially soviet design choice of having carved wooden wheels instead of rubber tires. unsurprisingly, its final model was retired in 1941.
