i can only guess that it's a finnish or russian design because of the snowy background, it has either a bomb or drop tank, and it's a two-seater so more than likely a fighter-bomber/ strike fighter... is it at least one of the Ilyushin IL models?
WELLESLEY ?
manufactured by vickers i guess ?
well i don't have much knowledge of it except for the TWO SEPARATE COCKPITS which gives it away![]()
this aircraft will be easy to guess
CLUE : it was retired before the war

It looks like a tempest the round engine cowl would indicate a radial engine. The Tempest II had a centaurus IV radial engine. That photo seems to have 6 exhaust ports on the side but the centaurus was an18 cylinder engine. It had me beat but then I saw thisIt is very much gorgeous. Is it a version of the Tempest?

Two Tempest Vs, EJ518 and NV768, were fitted with Napier Sabre Vs and experimented with several different Napier-made annular radiators, with which they resembled Tempest IIs. This configuration proved to generate less drag than the standard "chin" radiator, contributing to an improvement in the maximum speed of some 11 to 14 mph.[22]NV768was later fitted with a ducted spinner, similar to that fitted to the Fw 190 V1.[11][23]
