Growing a pop

Hello,

I conquered an ocean planet with a different specie (insects) living there. Enslaved them all and resettled one pop of my primary specie (human, continental pref.) there. Now two species are growing (are transparent), but only the insect has positive growth. I want to stop the insects from growing and let populate the planet by primary specie. How to do that? Everytime I purge the insect one it just spawn again and start to grow.

Is your xeno slavery regulated or unregulated? Unregulated slavery allows the breeding restriction policy. Or at least it should.
