. Settings were hardest difficulty and most hostile AI
since I wanted some challenge.
Here is a brief account of the first 40 years, I just wanted to confirm that well led the Moors could of taken the isthmus.
1492 we find our selves under attack by the greedy Spaniards.
we immeadiatly besige Gibralter and Andalusa in February and pin the Spanish army in Toledo
in March we occupy Marcia and Estrademarus. and by June we also have besiged castile.
there is lots of manuver, but by 1493, we are pinning Spain in Estrdamerus with Gibralter still under siege with 14000 infantry and castille under siege with 10,000 and Andalusia occupied
Since my goal was gibralter and Andalusia I was dissapointed that my 14000 man siege of Gibralter made almost no progress.
by late 1494 castile has fallen, but Gibralter still resisted. I finally had the tech to by a singel artillary so I took my first loan and bought 10 cannons and sent them to the rock.
1495: June Gibralter falls after over a three year uninterupted siege, pretty amazing. I was running out of troops to keep the spaniards pinned too: recieved Gibralter, Andalusia and about 150 ducats recieved.
1496 declared war on Portugal not calling my Hasfid or Algerian Allies. Quick war sieging all three mainland porvinces. with the portugese army away in the new world.
1497 Early 1497 a Suprise just about to finish off Portugal and spain declares war. I choose to take a second loan, and pin them for a few months, while I build 20 cannons and finish the Portugese, Portugal falls in the summer I recieve algrave and about 40 Ducats. With manuever I pin the Spanish army in Estramdures and siege Toledo and Castille.
1498 Spain falls recieve Toledo and about 100 Ducats. Decide to declaire bankruptcy and build some army and forts and balifs. since it would be too big a handicap to pay back both loans and I need not to interupt researching land tech.
1500: spain declares war early again. I use the same tactics pinning the army in Estrademerus and siege other provinces.
1501 recieved Valencia, Catalonia and about 175 Ducats.
with no CB and no monarch Declarations of war are to expensive on my stability so I settle in waiting for next war. I also have trouble paying for the troops I loose putting down revolts, time to rest and try to tech up my land forces.
1505 Spain Declares
1507 recieve Leon and Aragorn.
1514 waited too long for spanish declaration, in a nice break Spain allies with Mamalukes who I have a CB against. so I declared war on their allies the Mamulukes, called my allies Algiers and Hasfids.
1516 recieved Estradia and Gerona bought some ships with the 250 settlement, and went to help my allies.
1521 finished a long slow war with Mamalukes recieving the COT of Alexandria and The Delta.
1524 spain decalres war, with Mamelukes,
1525. recieve Leon and Galcia, from Spain and Catarac from Mamelukes.
1530. Declare war on Mamelukes who bring in Portugese and Spainish allies.
1532 By the time war is done recieved Alporto from Portugal, two Spainish provinces from Spain, and Nile from. Mamelukes.
That was the first 40 years, I also colonized Manhattan, Chessapeak,and Delaware, building Manhattan into a fortified city.
Several European countries Attacked me also when allied to spain, but for brevities sake I left that out.

I played on till 1560 and had begun to work on France and had added Carolina, Conneticut and Massacusets, several of the indies and Canaries, and Florida to the the list of colonies, I had cleared the isthmus of all but Tago And Castille, and had taken two French Provinces. The Netherlands were an allie, and in about 1455 I recieved the blessed -33% inflation event.
Odd game with Spain and Portugal Decimated the was no colinazation of Africa, Indonesia, or Asia. Other then the Mexico which Spain owned. My North American collonies were the only significant settlements.
