Could somebody help me with the Greek Civil War? We are making a mod about Balkans, and it would be interesting to add that event similarly to SCW, but I need somebody who knows something about that, a Greek for example...

I mean, to make a new country called Republican Greece, or Socialist Greece, to define which provinces will be controlled by one and other side when the war starts, etc. You know, same as theevents about Spanish Civil War, when few provinces, defect to Franco, the convoy routes are made...

Hm... You are a bit lucky!
I am from greece and I search for you some thinks about what you asking.
Today (7 march 1948) is the 60 years after we take the "dodekanisa" (the islands in the southwest in aegen sea. I search it and after some minutes I saw it in the TV.... (sometimes we are wasting our time I just have to open the TV... :rofl: ).
This is the only think that changed in the terrories. What I mean is that the civil war isn't somethink like as the "german civil war" (I don't know how exactly it is named) where they are an other nation the west german and other the east.
We are the same nation with many different ministers in this period and innumerable partisans.
I didn't found somethink else important for the game an the moment. I will search it and I will tell you in a week.
I want to ask some more informed persons than me for example α philologist and I will tell you if I had somethink wrong...

PS: We have at list 3 thousand years of history.. It's difficult to know everythink.

Yes I would like to help. But as I understand I have to help that means that before posting anythink (as I am the only from greece), I must have search it a lot. I will search and ask for informations , I will see what exactly you asking (I have to read and the posts in the Über Balkan Mod) and I will inform you in the next week.

These are what exactly we have just before the war begins.
The ΑΔΑΣ (Ανωτερη Διοικηση Αεροποριας Στρατου)[=Superior Administration of Aviation of Army]
and ΑΔΑΝ (Ανωτερη Διοικηση Αεροποριας Ναυτικου) [=Superior Administration of Aviation of Navy]
And they have the folowing divitions
i)3 divisions of Bombards 31η ,32η ,33η [=the names] with 35 airplanes Potez-63 Blenheim and Fairey Battle
ii)4 divitions of Fighters 21η ,22η ,23η , 24η with 36 airplnes P.Z.L. and 9 Block-151

Our navy:
See the (image 1) they are 59 ships in the zip I am giving in the end.
And an text file explainig everythink.

The army was:
In Albania 14 divisions infantry (=πεζικό) and 1 division cavalry (=ιππικο)
In the area in the game named sallonika only 2 divisions
In "edesa" named in game 3 infantry divisions and 1 divition of motorized.
