A lot of things were invented in this time period, ranging from commercial airflights to flexible bras and other commodities, not just guns and tanks and bombs. Which were some of the inventions during this time period? Commercial or Military inventions both count.

I had no idea they had voice recognition that early! Although given how bad it still was at the turn of the century, I shudder to think what it was like back in the 30s. It's actually not too shabby now, quite impressive even.

I reckon the early computers would be my favourite invention during the period - thanks to their descendents, we'll get to play HoI4 in a month :D.

Synthetic rubber was way earlier, like 1918 or so.

Also your information about Jet engines are way off. Even giving you the benefit of meaning a gas turbine the first one was built in 1909 and the first one for a plane in like 1920. The theory had been well understood long before that too.

The more I look at your list, the more suspicious of many items I become. As a general caution to others don't go quoting anything from that without check it first...

I'm sorry, but this is just patently wrong. However, it is an understandable misconception. The first speech synthesizer was invented in '36. This is much, much easier to create than a speech recognition machine. Speech synthesizing doesn't require much processing power, and would be doable in the 30's I would guess. Still very impressive though.
Speech recognition is a whole other beast, and requires alot of processing power and is waay beyond what was possible in the 30's, even command based recognition.

As I'm not just a naysayer I'll add my favorite from ww2 inventions:
Jerrycans! Which is, in some weird way, very awesome.

I am not a super expert in the field, but where you mention I mean production not design or first synthesys :

- About Syntethic Rubber a mean SBR perhaps the year in not pure exact but industrial manufacture of this truly replacement for natural rubber began during World War 2 in 1943

- With Jet Engine everything is questionable but with the timeline on hand https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_jet_power#First_turbojet_engines_.281930-1938.29 1937 looks like the year of the jet engines really started to work.

Of course maybe dates are questionable but if they serve to give a general idea of when some things come to our lives.

Speech recognition is a whole other beast, and requires alot of processing power and is waay beyond what was possible in the 30's, even command based recognition.

1936 AT&T's Bell Labs produced the first electronic speech synthesizer called the Voder (Dudley, Riesz and Watkins). This machine was demonstrated in the 1939 World Fairs by experts that used a keyboard and foot pedals to play the machine and emit speech.
