NeverWinter Nights: Don't play this game at all cost. Worst Bioware game ever.
The Addons are a little bit better. And NWN2 is also better (especially with the addons). But yes... vanilla NWN is not really good.
The realm rejoices as Paradox Interactive announces the launch of Crusader Kings III, the latest entry in the publisher’s grand strategy role-playing game franchise. Advisors may now jockey for positions of influence and adversaries should save their schemes for another day, because on this day Crusader Kings III can be purchased on Steam, the Paradox Store, and other major online retailers.

It is very likely that it does not need any further discussion and thus bumping it serves no purpose. If you feel it is necessary to make a new reply, you can still do so though.

Jade Empire indeed is a great game. But those combat mechanics get boring really fast...
Man, after reading this thread, it becomes more and more obvious that I need to find a new copy of BG2 and pick up Planescape: Torment. (I lost disc 2 of my BG2 copy years ago.) The one thing I didn't like about BG is that you got penalized very, VERY heavily for missing certain skills (I remember getting into that final dungeon and completely ignoring trap detection up to that point... not a good time. I was a mage, damn it!)
I believe there is a D&D "set" in GOG, that has both the full BG epic (original, not EE), Icewind Dale 1 & 2, Planescape Torment, and aother one I can't remember at the moment.
oh, and it's a team effort. Imoen is a great thief and there are a couple of good ones on the evil side as well.
But she was so annoying!![]()
I wish my internet connection were faster and more reliable... the Bioware RPG pack that misterbean mentioned is $19.99 on Gamersgate (couldn't find it on GOG). It's a big download, though.
but it's worth it. I don't know how long you will still be in Russia. Maybe you could wait until you're back home?
Another two months.I'll definitely wait until I get home. Just the opportunity to finish BG2 will be enough; Planescape and the Icewind Dales are an added bonus (as is the other game which I've quite forgotten at the moment).
I did hear Icewind Dale was a bit more combat oriented than BG/B2. True?
