(The government won't have much change as it is still a Democratic government.)

production01.png

Also, the government issued a plan to expend the army.

1935.01.01
Cantonian-Gui broder, Northern Gwong'zau

On the border between Cantonia and Gui controlled Guangzhou, several outposts were built in a line to protect the border from possible attack from Gui Clique. After the security level was raised a week eariler, the garrison inside outposts became heavier, and more guns and ammos were stored inside.

In a outpost tower, 4 Cantonian soldiers are guarding the tower, while playing the Big Two card game.

"Ha, antone one got a Quad?" One of them laughed and said, after throwing a Quad of 8 out.

"Crap, you must be cheating." Another soldier muttered and knocking the ground, which means "pass".

"Hey, stop starring outside and come back!" After another soldier passed, the first soldier asked the last soldier, who was looking out the window.

"Hey, come and see." He responsed quietly, and pointed outside. Feeling that something might be happening, the other three walked beside him.

"Who are they?" He said, pointing into the forest.

"I can't see anything." Another said.

"There, behind that tree."

"Well......" He stared into the trees.

Suddenly, several bullets fired towards the outpost, which hit him instantly, and bring him down to the ground.

"Darn!" Realising this is an attack against them, the rest of them are in chaos.

"You run back to the base! We'll try to hold them!"

"Sound the bugle!"

While they started to defend themselves, more and more gunfires were heard, and several bugles sounded right after that.

"Who are them!"

"They're in Gui Clique unifroms!"

"Darn! Tell the HQ we're attacked by Gui Clique!

Cantonian republic... thats original i definitivly like the nations you choose for your stories!

May i ask what is the story behind that flag? Looks like a combination of an old Greek flag and the NATO symbol... :)

Admiral Long Ling votes for a move towards hawk lobby.

He's also itching to develope a new type of ship, which could be called "heavy cruiser". Although a navy won't probably be needed in this war, it should be considered how long it would take to build such a ship, so the developement should be started early.

Confucius says: "Success depends upon previous preparation, and without such preparation there is sure to be failure."

Well, in the background setting(didn't write it down actually), this flag is a variant from the Blue Sky with a White Sun flag of the Revive China Society, which blue symbolise freedom and white symbolise equality.
The symbol on the flag is known as Compass rose, which in here symbolise the spread of freedom/democracy/(put some glittering words here). :)

>To W. Iljitsch
Yes, a navy would probably needed in the future, yet we still can support 1 project in the same time, so there would be a long way to develope naval vessels...... :(

Edit : Since the techtree of MOD34 make a nation lack of technology nearly impossible to build a navy in short time(Cantonia now lack about 11 technologies to build heavy cruiser), shall I mod the savefile to let us have some ships to build?
