Okay, I hit a big of a snag because the WW1 event chain in the normal game is bugged, but I have confirmed that my event chain works. The next step will be an attempt at deploying armies, mobilization, and units.

(little bit offtopic) Leonaru are you porting your Settling Accounts to DH?

Off topic: I'll be abroad for about half a year soon, and I won't have that much time to work on a port. Plus, porting the Iron Cross map (just the map) to AoD sounds more attractive to me, since the additional North American provinces will make the game much more dynamic.

On topic: IMO, the Roosevelt administration should be Market Liberal (and the Wilson administration in the CSA Social Conservative). :)

Good points. Incidentally, how would you model the red Rebellions and Mormons. In the WW2 mod the Mormons are a revolter, but it's not really clear how much the Socialists controlled in the Confederacy...

Thanks. Today I just added garrisons to the western provinces, to try to discourage the AI from sending 80 divisions into the American heartlands through Arizona. They're locked down on both sides of the border, and just garrisons; but my hope is it will discourage the AI a bit.

Sweet, now I can play out most of Timeline-191
How will Custer's disobeying orders to mass barrels be intrepeted here? Or better yet, will there be seperate tank units instead of brigades?

This one and that one should be revolters. For the flags, I think of ones in black and red, with raised fist/hammer and sickle/five-point star.
Even after annexing the revolters, the CSA should get some events like "rebels raid supply convoy" which drain supplies.

For the ministers: We can take the ones mentioned in the books and fill in the rest with random guys with the stylish roman/grecian names:

Does it make sense to treat them separately? I think both groups would be within the same province, given the size of the American provinces...

Well there were plenty of smart blacks from the South in OTL. Maybe they still rise to power in different ways?

Now for the messy party; unit balancing. I think the US should have about 70 divisions, Canada 15-20, and the Confederates 45-50. Does that make sense? as time goes on, the US's vastly superior IC will let it churn out units like there is no tomorrow, so you better have a quick victory.

Yes, the USA outnumbers the CSA about 3:1 since the CSA doesn't conscript blacks. There should be events which allow the CSA to recruit blacks when she's about to lose the war, though.

Well, I suspect if we give the US a 2:1 advantage versus the AI the Rebs will die every time, no?

how about a Black Socialist Republic and higher revolt risk in other provinces throughout the CSA?

Would the revolt be centered around South Carolina and Georgia? Or will there be many other black socialist republics? The one in SC should be called the Congaree Socialist Republic, with Cassius and company as ministers

I'm thinking of a four province minor that gains control of Greenville, Atlanta, Macon, and Augusta, and a dissent hint and rebels in Alabama-Mississippi.

Here we see the British Expeditionary Force, guarding Canada against the Yankee Menace. But as the Union troop deployments suggest, that's gonna take a bit of work.
