Great Power Frenzy? WW1 event?

The Defines.lua contains information about some kind of "Great Power Frenzy" with a start date of 1914.07.28. Is this some kind of WW1 event??

I would definitely keep playing beyond the 1821 end date if this were true...

It kind of was historically
But I think the honor of being the "actual" First World War goes to the Seven Years War, but the same can be argued for TYW and the Spanish Sucession.

They accidentally left files from Wiz's Victoria dating simulator. I am certain that at that date all the leaders get a hormones bonus which makes them extra emotional when their heirs are killed and allies offended

Just a small update but the date assigned to GREAT_POWER_FRENZY_START appeared to have been changed from "1914.07.28" to "1700.1.1".

Well, I just came across a reddit thread where someone claimed there is console commands "frenzy" and "frenzy_off" to go with it. He did not elaborated on what happened when you enter them in. I haven't tried it yet so I don't know if that actually works or not. It may be nothing but easter egg like you said.
