  • Warlock 2: The Exiled
I think this game is great. It does so many things right and is really addicting. I'm really looking forward to multi-player.

Like all things, it's not perfect. Here are some ideas I feel could make the game more balanced overall:

- Increase the gold cost of settlers to 100 gold. Increase the build time of settlers to 4 turns.
- Slightly increase the food and gold upkeep costs for all non-capitol cities. Ratio-wise, lower population cities should get hit harder with this nerf. This will make city building more of an investment.
- All summons should require a mana upkeep cost. Slightly increase the mana upkeep cost of all summons. There needs to be more "mana sinks" and it's too easy/powerful to spam low level summons.
- If you kill an enemy wizard's capitol, the wizard should stay in the game and control his or her remaining cities/units. The enemy wizard's largest remaining city automatically becomes his capitol.
- Increase the effectiveness of forts and stationary defense buildings.
- Slightly increase the overall effectiveness (or decrease the cost) of human tech units. The other races seem stronger.

Feature Implementations:

- Implement visual build trees/webs for cities. I want a GUI visual flowchart for what builds into what.
- Preset alliance / team multi-player. I want to play with my friend against the computer 2v1, 2v2, 2v3, or 2v4, etc.
- AI improvements would be appreciated. I think the AI is decent but it would be awesome if it was made even better.
