Enhance the graphics if you must, but please dont do anything to slow down the game. Just adding mods like SKIF and GIF would improve the game a lot.
I agree.. but i want the modders and the rest of the community to get busy!
They won't get seriously busy working on your project unless you make them interested. Be realistic.

leave the graphics. The gameplay changes are brilliant, dont waste your time on appeasing gawping graphics whores.

Eh. Graphics are a hygiene feature for me...as long as it's not bad, it doesn't matter much.
Read what Lennartos said carefully; this is not a pure graphics improvement. You can now see weather and terrain on the same map.

Would you be willing to take on that task (filling up province images,just as there are currently community teams for tech and ministers)?
If so, then i will make this an ASAP issue to give you and the community time to do so.
On another note i find the DMP mod 18 (music / sound mod) interesting - are all tracks free of any copyrights?
maybe I am odd, but i prefer the HoI2 graphics to the HoI3 graphics by far!
I like the solid color fills-stile and the nice sprites and the better proportion province size to unit size of HoI2
There is always place for improvement (more tank-/ aircraft/ army sprite models?) but the basic idea suits me well

It's okay for a mod but not for a game.
You have to check these songs carefully.
Thats what i thought - but there is no info where the songs / sounds come from..
