graphics problem

just installed and patched to 1.3a. All seems fine until game start and I see these odd grey graphic marls on the maps. outlines of boxes are not correct either.

Any ideas how to figure out why?

i dont think your nickname is appropiate for this forum, and for wich version did you patch 1.3a: doomsday of vanilla. if you instal a normal (vanilla) hoi 1.3a patch on doomsday it wont work

I patched vanilla HOI2.

did u mess with the editor
because once i messed with the editor and it wont let me start games in the 1936 scenario and in 1938 rivers r everywhere and i mean everywhere

I think it might have been my firewall software. After a few starts the firewall program permissions for FF (the video/graphics progam) may have caught up and be correct.

Tried installing on another machine and similar problem.
