Graphics Card Issues (Have Read Previous Posts)

I have read the previous PSA's about setting my laptop's Nvidia dedicated card to be used on the game. However, the card isn't being used! I have applied the settings and it says it should be using the card, but it just isn't, seems like it is just ignoring the setting! It is using the integrated Intel HD graphics instead and slowing my computer to a crawl...

Specs are an i7 3610QM processor and an Nvidia 770M graphics card.

Help!

I'm having a similar problem. It's almost like it starts out using my Nvidia card, then halfway through loading a map, it switches to the Integrated card. Crazy!

I am having this exact same problem. I have set cities.exe to high powered GPU. I did that manually, and no matter how many times I re-open the game, it never appears in the "recent" tab. I have verified steam cache and have even reinstalled the game. I have not been able to actually play! Windows 7 laptop, too.

I'm using an Asus K53SV laptop.

Gfx Device: NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M

I have actually got the game to load, but it takes a long time.
I can get to the menu fine, but if I try to start a game, it get's to a certain point while loading and freezes. If I let it sit there for about 20 minutes or so, it starts to load again. It's almost like it switches from my Geforce card to the Integrated card in mid loading and slows the system way down!

I'm on an MSI laptop as well. GP60 with Geforce 740m , i7 4700mq intel processor. I should add that my game is loading but only on integrated. It is not activating the GPU at all.

I have just tried running the game entirely on GPU with integrated disabled. The game immediately crashed and did not open at all.

Im playing with a normal pc, and i still lag even when using my 770. As it's only using 50% power

Sounds like the same issue I am having with my Asus Laptop. I am also looking for answers. Game loads, play for a few minutes and just freezes up. Have everything set to the GPU as well.

As a clarification, my game DOES run without freezing, just without my dedicated card and at 15-20 fps on low settings... little bit confusing compared to me running War Thunder on movie settings!

Just to be certain, make a profile for the power control management where you set everything to avoid power saving features and use that profile while you game.

I have to bump this thread if anyone has found an answer. Please let me know. I have not been able to play this game since day 1.

Although I haven't heard of many people unable to manually switch to their dedicated GPU, I've collected all your info and am passing it along to CO. They're already working on this issue (sort of) and hopefully the fix will solve the problem for everyone.
