Graphics bug in Terrain Mode

In terrain mode the map is majorly fecked up. Any ideas how to fix this? I've got the Steam version by the way.

I've had huge problems with this myself. The only solution is to completely uninstall the game (move save games somewhere else first) and reinstall it. Don't pick repair, afaik it doesn't work.
Btw, the reason why it looks like this is that the province textures are missing.

Would verifying the game cache on Steam work just like an uninstall/reinstall?
