Hello, while trying to split my kingdom up i ran into this problem:

I am trying to grant England to one of my sons, but when i do some duchies is left standing... How do i do so that they become a direct vassal under my son?

You left out some pretty important informations here.

What is your highest primary title? Is England your only kingdom title? How many eligible heirs do you have? What does the succession tab says about who gets what? You can't give away something that another heir stands to inherit, after all. Or what era are you in? What is your successon law?

The counties in the west are probably still de jure part of the Kingdom of Wales.

The counties in the east are probably owned by a duke who's main title is somewhere in Denmark (is that you?)

Not sure about Wessex, is it independent?
