Basically all I did was zip the entire folder, and download everything. Is this the wrong way to do it?

Yes it is. You can only upload the specific modded files. If you upload the whole game you will have problems with copyright because some people could get the game for free then. Better you delete that file and upload only the modded files.
ok, im trying it again. Now I chose the specific files within the folder that I updated, I hope this works. All this is simply the trial to post, lol.
