I had opened another thread requesting Rus active in the scenario.

http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=203399&page=1

Whatever low opinion I have of the objections to it, the objections were too strong in the view of the important people, and there's nothing more I can do.

At the very least, saving the activization of Rus for at least the 1066 scenario, a modicum of historical accuracy can be retained by editing the "Duchies." In the 1066 scenario, Izyaslav Yaroslavich, Grand Prince of Kiev and All Rus has the "Duchy" of Kiev, while other less-important rulers in later scenarios - have King-Duchies (EDIT: kingdoms). That situation is a historical abomination.

In the 1187 scenario, likewise, Vsyevelod Yur'yevich, Grand Prince of Vladimir (now) and All Rus', who also ruled Kiev, has a mere "Duchy," while a few of his vassals have King-Duchies (EDIT: Kingdoms).

In 1337, Ivan I Danilovich "Kalita," Prince of Moscow and by the grace of the Khan Grand Prince of Vladimir and All Rus is
1) not a vassal of the Khan, unlike some of his neighbours (Ryazan I think). He was in fact a vassal of the Khan of Sarai.
2) Possesses merely a Duchy title

I appeal strongly to all with historical sensitivity help request Rus' be sorted out, before the next (possibly final) alpha patch. I think people who know about medieval Rus and love it should be able to get the same out of the game as the people who know and love France.

What do you mean with king-duchies ?

In the 1066 scenario you are either king or duke.

In later Scenario's you have beefed up king title (f.e. Cyprus, Sicily, Bosnia).
Or is that not what you mean.

There are none in 1066, but 1187 has Novgorod-Severesk, Volhynia and Minsk, and 1337, just Novgorod-Severesk. You're right. I just assumed they were King-Duchies, but I checked the tags, and they're non-recreatable kingdoms.

Even more reason for a non-recreatable Kingdom of Kiev-Vladimir. I'd be fascinated to know what they were thinking when they created ovgorod-Severesk(!), Volhynia and Minsk (!), but left Kiev-Vladimir out.
